This summer, The RED will host its first ever Art & Theater Camp (ATC) for children ages 6-11. ATC will be facilitated by a group of middle and high school theater students and supervised by Live Coal's staff. There are 12 slots open for this camp! Even though we opened our doors to the public in fall 2018, we did not have our permanent collection of student art on the walls. Please join us on Saturday, April 13th form 1pm-4pm at 80 Clairmount Ave. for the official Grand Opening of The RED! Event includes exhibition of student work, Open House of Clairmount Studios, music, refreshments, and more. This is a free event!
Join us as the award-winning author of The Colored Car, Jean Alicia Elster, wraps up National Reading Month with a book talk and reading followed by a signing. Both The Colored Car, and the companion book Who’s Jim Hines, will be available for purchase.

Participants will make handmade cards using cutout snowflakes and paper to create cards. Participants can then write a note to someone special! Workshop inspired by the photography of Wilson Bentley, the first person to photograph snowflakes. Workshop led by Olivia Kinker. Free and open to the public. Donations accepted.
